Confetti Committee
A shared plan for people hosting a party together, so the group chat can go back to being a group chat.
The plan was living in the group chat.
When a few people host one party, the plan usually sits in a long thread and a spreadsheet one person maintains. Someone forgets the cake. Two people buy decorations. One host covers more than they meant to.
Each item gets a name.
The person who starts the party is the chair. Everyone else is on the committee. Cake, venue, balloons: each one has a point person. If plans change, someone else can take it, and the handoff is visible.
The app never holds the money.
Friends already pay each other on Venmo and Cash App. The links are filled in. Confetti Committee only keeps the record, and the person who was paid confirms it arrived. Co-hosts join from a link. The guest of honor never sees it.
